David Jacobs-Strain

David Jacobs-Strain is a local Northwest legend who’s been playing his own material since he was a kid in Eugene, Oregon. He is already a Master of the slide-guitar, and he’s been touring with the legendary Boz Scaggs for the last three summers!

David’s newest effort, “Live From The Left Coast”, features harmonica legend Bob Beach. “Rainbow Junkies” could be a lost Jimmie Page tune, “Hurricane Railroad” grooves like a young David Lindley, while our own favorite is the poignant “Halfway To The Coast”.- We in the NW are proud to have such a talented ‘son’ & we are happy to have David’s wonderful song, “Ocean or a Teardrop” on this compilation CD.
